At 40 years of age, Chinese biker Jianguo Chen is part of the first competitors of his nation to take off on the Dakar. A real pride for this two-wheel fanatic from the region of Nanjing like his compatriots Guanghui Wei and Zhiheng Li. Without real experience on the long distance rally, Jianguo Chen comes on the most difficult of races with modest ambition: make it to the end of the two week event. To achieve his challenge, he will count on his technical knowledge obtained during local rallies in China. His participation to the January raid could actually be well noticed: Jianguo is a very popular rider in China, known for the bike stunt shows he organises and that have become his full time job.
