Pedro Grancha: “I am opening a new phase in my career.”
Trained a civil engineer, Pedro Grancha is not only the managing director of a well-known but also a cross-country champion. Despite a very busy professional agenda, Pedro Grancha always finds time for his training and manages to reconcile both parts of his life.
He started his sports career holding the handlebars of enduro and cross bikes from 1989 to 1999. He was then lured to the world of car racing in 2001 and won the Portuguese championship in the car category five years later.
For the 30th Euromilhões Lisbon - Dakar, Pedro Grancha, accompanied by a very experienced Vítor Jesus, will be driving a Nissan Navara built by the racing department of Nissan Motorsport in South Africa with which he took the bet of reaching Dakar in good position in the rankings.
“I am opening a new phase in my sports career. I now have a state-of-the-art car which would be any pilot’s dream. It is a real rally car build for off-road racing,” adds Pedro Grancha.
